On a visit to Cameroon to preach the annual retreat to the student confreres of the Communauté Internationale de Formation en Afrique (CIFA), Charles Phukuta, the Superior General, received the renewal of the vows of 26 confreres and conferred the ministries of acolyte and lector to some of them, on the occasion of the feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, 8 September 2021.
September 8, 2021, marked the solemn opening of the 2021-2022 initiation year at the CICM International Novitiate "Buisson Ardent."
On June 29, 2021, the Feast of Sts. Peter and Paul, the CICM Novitiate was officially opened with a Eucharistic celebration presided by missionary community coordinator, Fr. Ignatius Sudaryanto, and assisted by Novice Director Fr. Johannes Silalahi and Socius Fr. Ernesto Amigleo in Sang Tunas chapel.
